Hello beautiful girls!!

Balle Balle….. Wedding season is on…
So, girls put up your shimmering lehenga, have lots of makeup, n yaa don’t forget d heels… rock it girl!!
Wedding season, lots of glitters everywhere. I just love marriages, getting dressed up, putting makeup, dancing in my heels, eating lots of yummy food... don’t you??

So, let’s see what’s trending in and what’s fading out

I am having my childhood friend’s marriage in January. So, it’s been 2 months am having research on lehengas n sarees n all.
What I found out, I will share with you in this post.

LEHENGA

Latest of all is a lehenga with lots of Gher, Kaliya and Broad Borders. From Madhuri Dixit to Alia Bhat, all are seen in lehengas with lots of kaliya…..

Starting off, decide what kind of fabric do you want, a chiffon lehenga may look stunning in Yash Raj movies but it is not going to suit every body type. So, keeping your body type in mind, choose the right fabric type for your lehenga. For example, if you’re slightly on the heavier side, choose a georgette lehenga as it sits beautifully on heavier bodies. Likewise, if you’re skinny and want to look slightly voluptuous, choose tissue, it adds fullness which ends up making your body look fuller.

Always make sure that 2 pieces out of three (lehenga, blouse and dupatta) are heavy while the third one is lighter so that you may not end up looking over the top.

Some of my favorite Manish Malhotra lehengas...

Bottom
Shopkeepers keep you in dark claiming 14-18 kali lehengas to be full 24 kali lehengas. Count the kalis on your own and choose a full 24 kali lehenga which will make you look gorgeous with its full gher.

If you are slim, you can go for straight lehengas too, like I made my lehenga straight coz kali one was out of my budget, yes its not that into the fashion, but still with lots of border n yup its looking great…

Choli

Here comes the main part of your dress. Make your choli sexy yet elegant.

If you are slim enough, have a small choli, deep back with dori, n girls if you want to show little bit of cleavage, and then make the front 7.5 – 8 cm deep.

N yaa if you are bit fat you can make the same with net  attached from the bottom of choli up to the waist or even below, or don’t attach net, take dupatta in saree pattern, that will cover up you tummy area.

Since winter is on you can go with a velvet choli too. Also one can have full sleeves too, but remember, make it of net or if you going for other fabric’s sleeves note o make it tight fitted, as much as possible. Because recently I designed a red velvet blouse with off-white-red-golden saree n made sleeves of velvet only, that was loose, n my mom said I was looking like “BHARAT-MATA” L

Net reminded me of new suit style lehenga. Personally, I don’t like them, I look fat in it.

Dupatta

Long, broad, with matching borders on all 4 ends, make it tansy.

You can either drape it as saree palla, giving it a lehenga-cum saree look.

Or let it fall on side of your shoulder, this will show your sexy waist n kamar-bandh cleary.

Or take it as dupatta

Colours
Go for neon colors as they are the latest, brightest, with them you don’t need too much stones or work on lehenga

Otherwise, go for contrasting royal colours like royal blue with red/ pink.

And golden n silver are always in, nowadays antique gold is in too.

ACESSORIES

Long earrings

High heels

Sleek kamar-bandh

Bangles n a breclate

Tika, if suits you

Let neck be empty, giving you a girly look

MAKE-UP

Even skin tone

Pinkish blush on

Shocking colored lipstick (red, pink)

Eye make-up is always an add-on

Hairs: personally I love juda look, but it makes me look like a married woman. If you have long hairs, go for curls from bottom n straight upwards, I guarantee you will look fab. N if juda suits you go for a loose side bun.

I found these videos on www.youtube.com for make, have a look, itmay help you.
